For many girls at Tulsa Girls’ Home, healing finally begins when life becomes stable. They find adults they trust, schools where they belong, therapists who know their stories, and a community that keeps showing up.
But therapeutic group home care is legally temporary—and for many older girls, the next foster home simply isn’t there.
Now we need your help raising $200,000 to make sure our girls still have a place to belong.

Imagine being 17 years old. You’re finally catching up in school. You have a therapist you trust. You’re learning to drive. Maybe you have your first job. For the first time, you’re beginning to believe you really can graduate, go to college, build a career, and create a different future. Then you’re told it’s time to move again.
For older girls in foster care, finding an appropriate foster home can be incredibly difficult. That can mean another school, another town, another set of adults, and another painful goodbye. We believe there should be another option.
Now we need our community to help us make it hers.
Tulsa Girls’ Home has stepped out and purchased a home that can provide the next step for girls transitioning beyond QRTP care who want to remain connected to the community and continue working toward independence.
Our goal is to raise $200,000 to help pay for the home and prepare it for the young women who will live there. This isn't about keeping girls dependent. It's about giving them enough stability to become independent.

We cannot change everything that happened before a girl arrived at Tulsa Girls’ Home.
But when she looks at us and says, in her own way, “I want something different for my life,” we can decide what happens next.
