No Girl Should Age Out Without a Place to Belong.
When girls age out of foster care—often on their 18th birthday—they’re expected to navigate adulthood alone, without the stability of a family, a safe place to live, or the support systems most of us take for granted.
This critical transition period is when many fall through the cracks, facing homelessness, unemployment, and increased vulnerability to exploitation. Tulsa Girls' Home is stepping in to change that. Through our transitional housing program and townhomes designed specifically for girls aging out of care, we provide more than just a roof—we offer stability, mentorship, life skills training, and a supportive community. Our goal is to ensure that aging out doesn’t mean aging out of hope. At Tulsa Girls' Home, every girl has a place to belong—and a chance to build a future she deserves.
When Foster Care Ends, Her Need for a Home Doesn’t.
Transitional Housing with Purpose
TGH provides safe, fully furnished townhomes for girls aging out of foster care, offering a stable living environment where they can continue their journey toward independence. Each home is designed to feel like family, not a facility—because stability is the foundation for growth.
Life Skills & Counseling
Through one-on-one coaching, girls learn essential skills like budgeting, cooking, applying for jobs, and navigating adult responsibilities. Aging out doesn't erase trauma. TGH offers on-site counseling, trauma-informed care, and access to mental health services so that each girl has the emotional support needed to heal, grow, and thrive.
Career and Education Support
TGH helps each girl set education and career goals and pursue them through technical trade-school completion, college enrollment, job training, and career exploration. We connect them with local businesses, scholarship opportunities, and mentors who believe in their potential!
